About Corrado Razor Blades: Carmen Corrado's father had started a business that catered to barbers. He made razor straps, sharpened razors and sold barber supplies. Then in 1905 he founded D. Corrado, Inc. in the heart of downtown Chicago. Carmen was a well educated man, who had survived horrors at the Battle of The Bulge, and expanded upon his father's business by becoming one of the first mail order cutlery establishments. He also imported from manufacturers in Germany, Italy and France. Soon, many of these manufacturers were stamping D. Corrado along side their own logos. Which explains why this razor blade says: D. Corrado Chicago, Illinois M.I. Germany
