The Mab Co. was based on Newhall Street in Birmingham England at the turn of the century.

According to old ads published by The Mab Co., the firm offered two kinds of non-safety razors: plain ground and hollow ground. They could be ordered in cased pairs and the handle types offered were black and ivory. The razors feature a cutting length of slightly greater than two inches in length and blades slightly greater than half an inch in width. The company sometimes referred to its razor as The Famous "Mab" Dwarf Razor in ads. The razors featured a shoulderless grind and a french point tip.
