Sickels, Sweet & Lyon were in the hardware business at 35 Barclay Street, New York, NY between 1890 and some point in time up to 1897.  Blade is stamped "SICKELS, SWEET & LYON" on one side of the shank, "MADE IN GERMANY"  on the reverse.  Scales are cheap, blonde, and plastic, I'd guess replacements given the age of the blade.
