This straight razor is only marked "Made and Ground in Sheffield" on the obverse shank. It was distributed by Charles Adam Cutler & Grinder at 36 Front Street in Rochester, NY.

The grind type is noted in Ken Hawley's note on open razors[1] and is commonly referred to in the SRP forums as a microtome.
